The Starin at Macquarie Park - Construction Superintendent
STARIN is premier serviced apartments building under construction at Macquarie Park NSW. The building is a 19-storey iconic building comprising of 154 rooms, hotel style lobby featuring reception, concierge, café, meeting rooms, business centre, swimming pool, spa, gym, bar and indoor/outdoor restaurant. blueVisions has been engaged as the construction superintendent acting on behalf of client for the procurement and contract management.
Management Plan - Peer Review and Refinement
LANDCOM, partnering with Transport NSW, are improving the supply, diversity and affordability of housing. The program focus is to unlock housing and jobs in the Sydney region. blueVisions were requested to perform a peer review of the existing Programs Management Plan (PMP). This will be the primary tool the LANDCOM Team will use to deliver the Program. The next phase of the project is to redevelop the PMP into a practical and succinct document. The LANDCOM Team members will be able to utilise the PMP to ensure a consistent and practical method for delivering every aspect of the Program.
Project Management Services
blueVisions was engaged by NSW Land and Housing Corporation for the provision of Project Management Services for multiple projects. The aim of these projects was to provide more social housing and improve maximise the potential of the existing properties owned by the corporation. Projects ranged from car park upgrades, common Room conversions and group homes to multi unit residential dwellings from seven to over 100 units. blueVisions was the client-Side Project Manager for projects throughout New South Wales.
Site Feasibility Assessment Program - Project & Contract Management
The Site Feasibility Assessment Program is a two-year contract to undertake feasibility assessments of NSW Land and Housing Corporation's development sites to determine the realistic yield and suitability for state-wide residential housing under ARHSEPP, SLSEPP and Council Controls. blueVisions' scope included site inspections, coordinating sub-consultants and providing a report summarising the potential for the site. blueVisions completed over 80 Site Feasibility Assessments for the corporation in the Sydney Metro Region and in the Newcastle area.
Contract Administration Services
blueVisions was engaged by NSW Land and Housing Corporation for the provision of Contract Administration Services for their projects during the Delivery Stage, including construction and project closure phases. Projects ranged from Group Homes to developments consisting of over 100 dwellings. Activities included Administration of the Contractor, assessment of claims including, Review and monitoring the Contractor's WHS and Environmental Management Plans and Chairing and minuting Contract meetings.
Stockland Cardinal Freeman Village, Ashfield NSW
blueVisions developed a detailed design programme for the $160 million redevelopment of Stockland's Cardinal Freeman retirement village at Ashfield in Sydney's inner west. The strategic programme comprised of a structured methodology, with resource levelling techniques and a critical path analysis, to develop necessary architectural and services drawings for the construction of 240 apartments and new community facilities. blueVisions provided a review of the design as well as attended site for site inspections.
Townhouse Development At Caringbah
University of Newcastle Student Accommodation
The University of Newcastle Student Accommodation Project is scoped to provide additional on campus student accommodation. The project involves the development of four (4) new eight (8) level residential buildings to accommodate 780 new students. The project includes services infrastructure upgrades, new roads, car parks and landscaping to be integrated with the existing campus. blueVisions has been engaged as Project Managers acting on behalf of the University of Newcastle for the design, procurement and contract management of a new student accommodation project. Undertaking the design review and attending the site was also blueVisions' responsibility.
Bonnyrigg New Leaf Renewal - Stage 4 Development Program
blueVisions expertise in project delivery and industry knowledge facilitated the planning of 94 dwellings in two (2) precincts. blueVisions developed a detailed master programme of activities for all phases of the project lifecycle, with the inclusion of a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for each design discipline and a timeline with designated hold points and milestones for delivery. The programme minimised project risk relating to time and cost with the application of realistic time estimates, a sound construction methodology and a critical path analysis. blueVisions also undertook a review of the design and attended site for the site inspections.
Canley Vale - 143-145 Carcoola St
With the provision of blueVisions' Project Management Services from project initiation to handover, this multi-residential dwelling comprising of six, two (2) bedroom, units was successfully delivered in accordance the client's and Local and Service Authorities' objectives. blueVisions facilitated the required Gate Review Meetings from concept design through to tender call, whilst liaising with the relevant stakeholders. blueVisions undertook a review of the design and attended site for the site inspections, as well as administered the Head Contractor's works, including methodology, program and safety, in accordance with the selected General Conditions of Contract.
